Thursday, February 7, 2013 - Pours a dark, vibrant purple that's clear at the edges. Aromas of black fruit, black pepper, spices, and garrigue all show themselves with some swirling. It's got terrific acidity on the palate, which lifts the ripe fruit and balances it out. Flavors of black olive, asian spice, dried herb, and hints of cedar all finish it out. One of the best QPR Rhones I've had in a while.
