Monday, December 25, 2017 - Deep, inky purple-black colour. Smoky, intense, berry nose, some licorice aromas. Palate very tannic, concentrated, black fruit, meaty flavours, crisp acidity, dense and intense. Long, tannic finish. Benefits from opening ahead of time (better second day, decanted). Textured, rich and full of character. Excellent. Good now but will improve. Drink now - 2028
