Tuesday, February 19, 2013 - An interesting wine and a paradox in a bottle- I found the nose to be very expressive and delightful with lots of spice, coffee cake, chicory and lots of berries but the palate was the most closed of the Rousseau wines, with basic wet earth and cooked black fruits. I wonder if the palate will open up over time? This is a wine to watch because, if the palate does flesh out, it could be amazing.
