Sunday, September 12, 2021 - Beautifully mature, the black fruit was rather elegant, with a slightly leathery quality around it like old library books. Definitely some minty elements and pipe tobacco, with perhaps just a touch of woodsy oak. Unmistakably new world, but not a bruiser and standing up very nicely, even if the tannins were perhaps a bit on the soft side.
