Tuesday, August 23, 2016 - This wine is really coming together now. Delicious. It's a deep, brooding, dark red wine. Nose is earthy with black fruit, red licorice, spice, and rose hips. Palate is both tannic and pretty; it's easy to drink with a wet and mossy rocks minerality sitting under all of that contemplative flavor. Development is just starting to show with hints of espresso and toffee. I'm wishing that I had waited another two years on this one. Love this stuff.
