Saturday, May 31, 2014 - Decanted an hour, consumed over the next 4. First impression is it seems dark for a brunello. Nose shows leather, dry leaves, light cherry and herbs. On the palate dried cherries, tobacco, leather and finishes with grey tea. Tannins are substantial. Paired well with dinner, a bit tough at this point on its own. Glad I have a few more. At this point hold 3 years.
