Friday, December 28, 2012 - Was hoping this would be more identifiable as a Rhone blend. As others have mentioned, I would not guess that this was French if served blind. Nonetheless, this wine is a crowd pleaser- medium-bodied with plum, red licorice and vanilla on the nose and palate. Lacking depth and terroir but showing good structure. Although it's not what I look for in a Grenache blend, I can't deny that it is quite delicious.
