There is no doubt that this is a Syrah based wine (65% Syrah + 35% Grenache) as the nose is all dark red fruits, smoked meat, and a touch of violets. All of these follow on to the medium bodied palate along with acidity that is juicy and balancing, and a touch of tannins. I don't think this wine will improve, but it can hold for another year or two before declining. Enjoy soon, but give it air.
