Sunday, August 17, 2014 - Deep ruby color. Leather, mineral, anise, and mineral on the nose. Red fruits, plum, and cocoa on the palate. Tight, good amount of tannins and prodigious acidity for a village wine. Had with some Wagyu sirloin which really opened it up, but better in 3-4 years.
