Monday, December 6, 2021 - Much of the fruit has faded from this one but the tannins have not. It's still pretty bracing, even with a few hours in the decanter. Dominated by tertiary flavors it is not, however, unpleasant. Although not particularly elegant it still has a lot of enjoyable complexity.

12/7/2021 10:35:00 AM - Thanks for the note. Sounds like I should crack one open in the near future (think I just have a couple left) ... I used to like the Cosme Gigondas with 15 years age on it, but this vintage was lighter, so will err on the side of caution
