Sunday, January 5, 2014 - At Timber Cove Inn with G/W; good mixed dark fruit and clean earth; full mid palate; spice notes; the oak is there, but well integrated; enough acidity to keep it lively; might have guessed some syrah added, but it had the body of a pinot; worked well with the crab cakes and tomato bisque.
