Wednesday, August 12, 2020 - pop n pour. At first this wine was a bit astringent with a little too much alcohol and tartness on the finish. It needed a decant. I closed and pumped the bottle, returning to it on day 2. Much better on day two with rich dark red fruit and herbal tones. The tartness was softened and it became well-balanced and very enjoyable. I saved a glass for day 3 where it began to show the beginning signs of oxidation and had flattened a bit; still enjoyable. Not Seasmoke's best effort but still a top-end pinot.
