Friday, December 13, 2019 - Boys' Vosne Romanee Long Lunch (Artyzen Club, Shun Tak Centre, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong): Totally transparent, brightly jewelled ruby colour. Nose is classic sous-bois and wild woodland strawberries along with "smoke on the water" (to quote Dominik). Palate is absolutely gorgeous.....similar to the nose. Very resonant and reverberant inside the head on the finish. Gorgeous and my wine of the lunch, even though I generally prefer my Burgundy with one or two decades more age. 93+
