Community Tasting Note

tak4 Does not like this wine:

Saturday, April 20, 2019 - Opened and decanted. Left for about an hour before tasting.

Wine is a brick-crimson color with a clear edge. Had a bit of an oily texture upon decanting.

On nose, clearly shows some age. Not terribly aromatic. Has some menthol, fresh leaf, rum raisin.

On palate, wine is pretty blah. Not much fruit flavor, not much tertiary. Has it closed down? Or is it just not good? Either way, not good.
