Saturday, February 24, 2024 - Licorice and wood on the noise. Less wood on the palate but unmistakable licorice notes, as well as chocolate. This was a bit disjointed on PnP but started to come together after 60-90 minutes in the decanter. Overall this was very nice, although it wasn’t as complex or layered as some of the best Brunellos I’ve had. 93+
