Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - Dark pink bordering on copper in color, this wine showed strawberry, pomegranate and spices on the nose. The mouth feel brought firmer than expected acidity, tart currant and hints of minerality. The finish was medium in length with the pomegranate notes lingering.
Purchased for $18US, this very dry rose' is much bigger in style than the southern France ones I often drink and enjoy. Well made, but it's not one that I would reach for when thinking rose'. I like them lighter.
