Saturday, April 27, 2013 - Bassins 28th Annual California Barrel Tasting (Mandarin Hotel, Washington, DC): This turns it up a notch, with a red fruit profile, fine polished tannins, and very long finish. Blackberry and cassis dominate the palate. Impressive wine that will need some serious time. 92-94+
