Friday, November 16, 2007 - Bottle looked very well stored, with a very high level and cork only wet a third of the way through. Full, deep colour still. By far the hardest and least evolved of the bottles when decanted 90mins before drinking. Slightly fuller and more alcohol than the other reds (13 cf 12.5%), but nicely balanced. Still a little chewy, good acidity and fruit in a more European style. Very good and an excellent ringer for the red Bordeaux drunk with it. Drinking now but no hurry at all, I think well cellared bottles will develop further. ****
