Wednesday, May 17, 2017 - At last, this wine is ready to drink. Just shows you decent Napa reds take at least 5 years. We have one bottle left after this.
This was varietally correct with lots of dark fruit , licorice notes and tannins that nicely coated the tongue. Robust, but elegantly smooth. We decanted and a touch of acidity went away quickly, but still great to pair with food.
