Monday, January 13, 2014 - Nice reddish purple color. Very dark fruits on the nose, and also on the first taste. Blackberry, black currant and a little herb of some sort. Balanced tannins, and it feels more like a non-California cabernet in it's weight. It has a precision to it that makes you enjoy drinking this wine. It was even better about 45 minutes later with a filet that had some cracked black pepper. Very nice Monday night wine experience.
