Monday, June 23, 2014 - Medium bodied and quite dry. Complexity seems a little low. Tannins are young and relatively in check. Nose is of cherry and cran. Mouthfeel is a little rough even after a multi-hour decant. Flavors come from the darker end of the spectrum with tobacco, earth, cocoa and dusty sand. Lacks fruitiness for a while this young in the bottle. Still complex and a good effort though.
