Sunday, May 6, 2018 - Delicious as has been my consistent experience with the Clape wines; and very approachable with great balance now. The nose has lots of dark berry fruits, reminiscent of fresh blackberries and black currant; underlying this are hints of smoke, blood, pepper, and a hint of lavender. The palate has very good concentration, but the tannins are actually quite silky and integrate with no hard edges, great acidity, and mouthwatering finish. Really just a pleasure to drink.
