Sunday, April 11, 2021 - 2nd of 2, first one back in 2012. Well, it's still hanging in there just fine; fruit's maybe softened a bit, but still a nice, easy, food versatile red for lighter fare or standalone sipping. I don't see Sancerre rouge too much, so it's a treat to have any at all.

Garnet color with transparency. There's some pretty floral aromatics leading the way here, along with white pepper, cherry, and some darker fruit. Light to medium body, with medium acid and finish, and flavors of high toned red fruits, lemon, and minerals. Drinks like a ruché or Chinon. Side note: that is the most substantial punt I think I've ever seen.
