Saturday, February 19, 2022 - Like a top-notch Crêpes Suzette made into liquid, lushly scented on the nose with orange peel, brioche, honeyed ginger and a dab of crushed Asian pear, as well as the usual oxidation marking the Selossian pedigree. As expected from the vintage this is a large-scaled, opulent and exuberant fizz, but the palate does not feel too hefty as is deftly balanced with a fine edge and piercing acidity which really lift the wine to the next level. Utterly delicious.
