Velvet smooth with a complex gentle taste of fruits, liquorice, raspberries and other red berries. Grand finesse and elegance. We aired it for two hours – big difference, much needed. The year 2003 is supposedly not a great one for cote de nuits but this producer’s was perhaps the exception. Enjoyed to boeuf bourguignon.
