Saturday, October 16, 2021 - Went down to our cellar to retrieve a 2012 Kosta Browne pinot and came across the 1992 Domaine Drouhin pinot that we thought was all gone. Curiosity won out and we opened the . What a wonderful surprise (especially reading earlier tasting notes and pro reviews). Garnet red color, initial aromas were mostly sous boise covering red berry fruit, after 60-90 minutes the fruit became dominent in the nose and on the palate, very smooth, perfect balance, no tannins, medium length fruit finish. One of the most enjoyable wines we have had this year. Purchased upon release and stored at 55 degrees since. Wish we had another bottle!
