Friday, December 21, 2018 - The sealing wax capsule has largely disintergrated, and the cork loose, but that does not seem to have affected the wine. Quite a deep garnet, no paling at the edge. Tarry nose, floral undernotes, a touch of mothballs, even some grass. Dry, fairly acid, very long; the flavour neutral at first, then developing, minty. Not complex, but it went down very well with a pork chop.
