Thursday, December 12, 2013 - Excellent ruby color. Complex nose with rasberries and cherries along with tobacco and spices. Gorgeous, classy, deep and exotic with incredible flavors of black cherries, dark rasberries, licorice and red spices. Wonderful seamless texture with the underlying lushness of Pomerol. Balanced with such finesse and elegance yet also a bit wild with so much going on on the long, complex finish. I can really taste the vineyard in this mature but fresh bottle which should hold at this level for some time. Incredible juice and perhaps one of the best Bordeaux's produced in the decade!
