Sunday, February 26, 2017 - Color is straw golden pale with an energetic mousse. Light in color. Nose has a distinctive washed cheese rind to it. A touch of blue cheese specifically. Bottle is not tainted or flawed. Body is light plus. Acid is strong and the wine is slightly unbalanced in its favor. The wines effervescence is strong but not overbearing. On the pallet, notes of pear, green apple, and tropical fruits ring through. The finish is medium in length. Definitely tastes like a Californian sparkling wine. Good wine but not memorable.
