Thursday, June 20, 2013 - Stoney, high-toned, and leading with tart, bright-red fruit, florals and an underlying sourness. Firm but lifted on the palate, energetic, transparent, finishing with clean soil tones and a peppery-sage/bitter Bayer aspirin note. Fine grained tannins need time to resolve, but very approachable after several hours in the decanter and improving through the last glass.
