Saturday, May 14, 2022 - I like to age certain Muscadets, and this was one of my experiments. Generally I find the sharper and more acidic the better -after 10-15 years they mellow into warm rich round little things that can be just wonderful. While this wasn't one of them -per earlier comments I think it had it's edges smoothed a little too much for 15+ aging, nevertheless it was nice. Creamy toffee on the nose and palate, fairly clean, if somewhat vague, finish. Held up well into the second day.
