Wine is out of it's prime, very nice mature Bordeaux nose, consisting mainly of spicebox, shoe leather and tobacco. No fruit left and a moderate finish. Good structure still and enjoyable with food. Imagine the '70 Pichon Lalande minus any fruit attributes.
