Saturday, February 24, 2024 - Cellar Tracker: B1.5+L2+I2+C2=7.5/8. 93. Deep garnet. Pronounced aroma. Good structure. Prevalent notes of black fruits (blackberry, blueberry, plum) and red fruits (raspberry, ripe strawberry). Geranium. Bell pepper, liquorice. Presence of oak (cloves, cinnamon, chocolate, roasted wood). Some tertiary notes (caramel, mushroom and tobacco). Full-boded, harmonious, opulent. Decanted for 3 hours. The tannins are fine and resolved. Thick and concentrated. Still developing. Good wine. Paired very well with iron pan-fried wagyu.
