Wednesday, March 22, 2017 - Very good.
Clear, medium-deep, ruby with a narrow rim.
Clean, medium (+) fully developed nose of blackberry, vanilla, black pepper and earth.
Dry, medium acidity, medium (+) alcohol (14%), medium (+) fine grippy tannins, medium bodied, medium (+) flavour intensity with blackberry, vanilla, cedar and black pepper. Medium length.
Very good, balanced, good structure and puckering but fine tannins. Primary fruit a little simple.
Drink now, and is fresh for 7 years old, could potentially age a couple more years, worried primary fruit will run out before full tertiary development and tannins are resolved.
Excellent QPR.
Cork.
