Saturday, November 8, 2014 - Qualitatively as good as the 1990 Chateau Margaux I had recently although more masculine in its aromatics. Brick red color. Earth, smoked meats, tobacco and saddle leather all in abundance on the nose. Could inhale this all night. The palate gave me goose bumps - fleshy and endless flavors of dried fruits, bacon and autumn leaves. Just a glorious bottle!
