Friday, August 9, 1996 - Color difficult to assess due to inadequate lighting. Moderate sediment. Very pleasant nose of ripe fruit, leather and spice. Tannins have all melted away. Pleasant palate of same flavors with long, soft finish. Lovely now, but I question how much longer this wine will last (low tannin and acidity).
