Saturday, October 12, 2019 - Tasted blind next to an ‘85 Sassicaia and ‘90 Beausejour Duffau. This was the best of the three and most distinguishable as a classic Pauillac from a great vintage. Incredible nose and a long smooth finish. However, having had the ‘82 Pichon three times before, this was not showing at its fullest potential based on what I know this wine can put out. Nevertheless, this is still a legendary wine and one to have on your bucket list if you haven’t had it before.
