Saturday, July 18, 2015 - Last one in my inventory. I generally don't think 100% cab franc works but this is the exception. Served this with 2 lb grilled rib eyes (I live in TX) and roasted yam with garlic, mushroom, red onions, red and yellow peppers all sautéed in herbs and slightly Carmelites in the wine with brown sugar and a touch of cinnamon.

Really paired perfectly. This one is dark fruit. Blackberry but with a touch Of anise and hint of cinnamon. Balance is nice and there is a touch of bitterness on the finish.
