90 Points

Thursday, May 9, 2019 - Deep ruby red with slight purple tinges at the edges. Sediment and crystallized sulfites when decanted. Alcohol at 14% makes the nose quite warm. Terroir aromas of wet stone and earth. Flavors of bing cherries, cranberries, and hints of menthol. Medium-high acid. Velvety tannins. 61% cab, 29% merlot, 5% cab franc, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. Drank 2-3 hours after decanting.
