Saturday, May 9, 2015 - Opened to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day. Delicious nose with lots of blueberry fruit. On the palate, clearly young, with noticeable tannins and lots of fresh wood/oak. At the same time, tasted much smoother and balanced than Caymus regular bottling from 2012, with lots of blackberry and blueberry fruit on the palate, highly concentrated but not cloying. Should be really good in a few years. I am not convinced, however, that this is a great price/quality ratio (despite the score), e.g., some of the 2010 Bordeaux bottlings should be a much better run for the money.
