Monday, January 9, 2017 - Dark purple in color with a wonderful nose. This is an unabashedly rich wine with ripe fruit and a long finish. Decanted this for 3 hours and drank over another hour and a half. This needed a decant but it lost a touch of vibrancy at the end. Would decant only 2 hours next time. This went very well with a filet mignon.
