Thursday, May 11, 2017 - An excellent Napa wine. It has the goodness of Napa and its weakness. What a wonderful fruit! The bouquet shall have you enthralled! Layers and layers of wonderful aromas. Berry, tobacco, love, ego. The rich fruit comes across when you drink this wine. Blackberry jam and long finish. When you drink this wine the world shall make a little more sense.

But this wine has the jammy sweetness of Napa wines. It is so.easy to like this wine. This wine is has the potential of being a terrible first crush. But this wine does not have enough intricacy to want to spend a lifetime with. It's imminent likeability comes at a sacrifice of making this wine intriguing and interesting. Not much tannins to hold interest, no undertone of slight acidity to tease the pallette, not full bodied enough to command respect. This is not the wine that I would want to drink for my entire life, but this may a choice for my last drink.
