Wednesday, April 15, 2015 - Rich, golden yellow. Nose and taste dominated by oak barrel fermentation, yet chardonnay fruit comes thru. Like so many California Chardonnays, the winemaking choices — in this case the intense oak — dominate what the vineyard offers. Hard to tell what the future portends.
