Wednesday, February 20, 2019 - Deep ruby red in appearance with slightly lighter edges. Complex nose with layers of damp earth, woody, tobacco, plums, black cherries and cocoa. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Classic cool vintage with layers of lavender, black cherries, stewed plums, light baking spices, anise, truffles and damp earthiness. Long and smooth finish. Drink till 2021.
