Wednesday, May 20, 2015 - Tasted at the winery on the Old Mission peninsula. Presents as straw yellow. Nose features fresh pineapple and a bit of quasi-Alsatian petrol funk. Savory and a bit salty on the palate in addition to light tropical fruit accent flavors. Balanced structure coming from medium acid. Medium(+) finish. "Very good," 87/100, though it hardly compares to the 2013 Riesling from the 2L vineyard.
