Sunday, February 25, 2024 - Revisiting an old friend... Almost 3 years after my last bottle, this was again a super showing and the wine is still in its peak drinking window for my taste. Slow ox'ed for about 2h. This delivers all one hopes for in a mature Bordeaux, beautifully balanced and aromatic with cigar box, leather and still some dark fruit. 80s Canon are great, whether its 85, 86 or 89 (yet to try the 82).
