Light yellow in color, medium in body, nose of lemon rind and salt water. Tastes of grapefruit, green apple, orange peel, and minerals, with a lingering, almost oily finish. 13.5% alcohol. Very few $30 Chardonnays would be drinking this well four years out, but this has plenty of life left in it. This reminds me of Hanzell's Sebella or Wind Gap's James Berry: in other words, lean, but quite good. Drink in next year or so.
