Saturday, April 13, 2024 - ABV: 12.5%. There's good potential in this wine, but it's still very young. Upon opening, the nose exhibits a lot of minerality, and only after several hours (no decanting) did it begin to show hints of floral notes (think roses) and red fruits (think raspberries). There's a lot of acidity on the mid-palate, which will require more time for it to fully integrate. There's also a good, solid, and lengthy finish. If you're planning to open your bottle soon, decant it for several hours before serving. However, I'd suggest keeping your bottle in the cellar until the 20-year mark (2030).
