Sunday, February 19, 2023 - Decanted for 20 minutes to the beginning of the meal and 30 minutes would have been better. In the glass it was a dark purple to a lighter rim. Some dark fruit and earth on the nose. The medium to plus bodied palate showed mostly dark red fruits, with some black and blue fruits, some spice, some earth, balancing acidity, and a great finish. A pleasure to drink and no reason to wait.
Better than our two previous bottles (3+ years ago) as this wine has nicely integrated any noticeable oak or tannin.
