Friday, December 29, 1989 - With MPL, BLR and Diane at Singer & Foy. Very dark ruby-purple. Tremendous nose of violets and raspberries. Great sweet fruit. Perfect! Palate is not up to the nose, but very close. Fine ripe fruit, oaky, with lots of tannin and good concentration. Excellent wine, but not as good as the first bottle. 5-15-17-8: 95/100.
